Cancellation of orders by Customers

If in case you have changed tyour mind regarding a product, and believe cnacelling it is in your best interests, you may avail yourself of Maayra's cancellation policy. 

 

Scenario 1 - If the order has NOT been shipped by us

Customers can cancel their orders within (maximum) 8 Hours of placing an order. Please check the 'Order Status' by logging into your Account. If the status is "Pending", you should immediately follow these steps - 

1) Click on "Contact Us" link located in the lower end (footer) of the website. Mention your Order Number and send us your request for cancellation. You can also send us an email directly at wecare@maayrajewellery.com

2) Our Customer support team will respond within 24-36 hours, and let you know next steps. 

 

Scenario 2 - If the order has already been shipped by us

If we have already shipped the parcel by time you inform us, simply refuse to accept the parcel when the courier boy comes to deliver it to you (return the packet to the same courier boy)

Maayra has complete right to decide whether an order should be cancelled or not. Also, the customer agrees not to dispute, and accept Maayra's decision regarding the cancellation.
 

In case of Gift Certificate

Gift Certificate will not be canceled, user can demand for extension of expiry date within 7 days of purchase.

 

Cancellation of Order by Maayra

Maayra reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a product that is listed at an incorrect price or for any other reason. This shall be regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and/or payment been received. The 100% payment shall be refunded and the User shall be informed of the same.

 

Return & Refund Policy - Destinations in India

Although we take great pains to ensure a great quality buying experience, it is possible that you may wish to return the product. Our Returns policy will come to your rescue in such cases.  

 

Scenario 1 - If in the unfortunate circumstance of your opening the parcel, you discover that -   

• The product is damaged, probably during transit
• There is a manufacturing defect in the product
• A wrong product has been delivered to you

You have to inform us through email (wecare@maayrajewellery.com) within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. 24 hours is a sufficient time period to discover defects, damages and wrong delivery, and hence No returns or replacements will be allowed after the stipulated time-period.

 

Scenario 2 - You wish to return the product because you do not like it, in this case - 

You have to inform us through email (wecare@maayrajewellery.com) within 7 days of receiving the parcel. No requests for returns or replacements will be allowed after the stipulated time-period. 

 

What you need to do - 

1) In the lower part (footer) of the website, click on the link "Returns". Mention details like the Order number and the Reason for returning. 

2) After going through your return request, we will send you our confirmation of return either through call or email. 

3) We will then arrange for the replacement of the item through our logistics partner. In the scenario that we are not able to arrange a pick-up at your location, you'll have to send the product back to us yourselves through a reputed courier (with tracking id)

4) Put the product in its original packaging, invoice, labels and seal it well. Make sure you bubble wrap it so that product doesn't get damaged

5) In case you have to courier the return parcel yourself, send an email to wecare@maayrajewellery.com with the tracking number. Without tracking number, the product cannot be tracked and can be lost in transit.

6) Once we receive the product, it will be properly inspected to be free from any defect. 

 

Return Shipment Charges - 

1) In case of Scenario 1 under the Return Policy, we'll bear the return shipping cost as you are not at fault. You will receive Store Credits (or cash refund) equivalent to the value of the item paid by you. In exceptional cases where you have to send the product back yourself, we will add Rs 100 extra store credit to your Maayra Account.

2) In case of Scenario 2 under the Return Policy, we'll deduct the return shipment charges borne by us, and Store Credits (or cash refund) equivalent to the remaining value of the item will be paid by you. In exceptional cases where you have to send the product back yourself, we will not refund the courier cost, and you will receive Store Credits (or cash refund) equivalent to the entire value of the item paid by you.

 

Non-applicability of Return requests - 

To safeguard our interests against fraudulent customers, requests for Refund will not be entertained under the following cases - 

1. Gift Certificates
2. Items that have been used or opened
3. An item not returned in the condition it was received
4. Any item received by us in a damaged condition
 

Special Cases - 

1) If the item sent for replacement is not available, we will try to give you best possible alternatives, but the choice of the customer will be final

2) If the order is confirmed by us and we are not able to ship the product on time, then we will give refund to customer, if customer demands

3) 100% refund will be given, if product is not available or vendor is not able to ship the products

4) If the delivery address is outside the service area, then also 100% refund will be given

 

International - Destinations based outside India


Terms and Conditions

Each item in your order is sold by {Maayra}. Those items for shipment to countries outside of the India may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees.


With respect to each item for which Import duty fees have been calculated, you authorize {Maayra} to designate a courier company or freight forwarder to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise, process and remit your actual Import duty fees for such item. The import duty may be collected by Courier Company on or before delivery.

Limitations

For products shipped internationally, please note that any manufacturer warranty may not be valid; manufacturer service options may not be available; product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in destination country languages; the products may not be designed in accordance with destination country standards, specifications, and labelling requirements; and the products may not conform to destination country standards. You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from {Maayra}, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
 

About Customs, Duties & Taxes:

When ordering from {www.maayrajewellery.com}, you're responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.
The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the India may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. If customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

International Returns:

Items must be returned in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition within 14 days of receipt of your goods. {Maayra} does not reimburse any customs or import duties, brokerage fees, or taxes paid on shipments. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. We will refund the purchase price paid for the item, but we will not refund any shipping costs, duties, fees, or taxes. In addition, {Maayra} reserves the right to charge you for any import duty or taxes paid while goods are returned and we are charged by custom department for recovering the returned package. You are responsible for all the costs associated with returning the goods back to us. Your refund will be processed once we receive your returned item.

When you return goods, please mark your parcel as "returned goods" otherwise it may get held up at customs which will cause your refund to be delayed.

Shipping Returned Merchandise:

We recommend shipping returned merchandise via courier or insured parcel post for tracking purposes. {Maayra} does not take any responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that any returned packages are lost, stolen, or mishandled. We do not refund shipping or insurance costs. Please send back all labels, invoice etc that we sent to you.

Items Damaged in Shipping:

{Maayra} is not responsible for items lost or damaged in shipping. However, all packages are insured; if your item is lost or damaged, please hold onto the item, with the original packaging, and call us immediately at +91 9167 438955 or mail us at wecare@{maayrajewellery.com}. We will contact Courier Company on your behalf and file an insurance claim. Once courier company has approved and paid the claim to {store_name}, we will forward the applicable amount to you (note: original insurance cost is not refundable).

Refund for an item sent by international delivery?

Refunds for goods returned under our policy are made to the credit, debit, or charge card or wire transfer to account used originally charges or paid for order. Please allow 2 weeks from the time we receive the returned goods.

An email notification will be sent once the return has been processed.
